Yesterday I found out that my mom's French Bulldog Sophie had died =( My mom came home from a long night shift at the hospital to find Sophie dead in her crate. Sophie would have been 10 this October. I know I have complained a lot about how hard it is being far away from family, but when stuff like this happens, it makes it extra hard. Sophie was the perfect dog, no really, she was. She was always so loving and gentle, even with my niece Madison. She would sleep, eat, drink, go potty outside, and sleep some more. She never did anything wrong. She was just way too easy for a dog. Sophie would play with my dogs even when they were obnoxious, hyper puppies and discipline them when they got out of hand. My mom loved her so much and was by far her favorite dog. I feel so bad that my mom had to be the one to discover Sophie dead. And what's worse, is that she was home all alone. My brother and sister in law were down south visiting family, and my dad was working an overtime shift. I wish more than anything that I could have been there for her to just give her a hug. I would never want to discover and/or deal with something like that on my own. Here are some pictures I found of Sophie. Thanks for reading =) And RIP Sophie, you are greatly missed.
