Today we had our first ultrasound! I thought I was 8 weeks and 1 day along, but according to my OB's calculations, I am only 7 weeks and 1 day along. She was able to find Baby Fee right away without any problems, and even double checked to make sure there is only ONE Baby Fee, not two or more. Scott was able to come to the appointment with me which was super awesome. I think he was more excited than me! We were able to see what looked like a little jelly bean with tiny arms and legs and a little bump bump bump right in the middle. What a miracle.
It was such a relief to see that baby had made it to a safe place and had a strong beating heart. We pray everyday that the baby will continue to grow healthy and strong. My new estimated due date is May 30th, 2012. I am expecting a June baby.
I forgot to mention in my previous post that I have finished all my coursework for my AA and am now taking classes for my BA. Aye carumba, I have no idea how Scott talked me into this. I am working on my BA in Child and Family Development. I do love the classes. I enjoy them so much more than my IT classes, but ever since we found out about the baby, I have lost all motivation to do anything except shop for and read about baby! Scott is finally finishing up his Master's. He will have an outline finished in a few weeks, and then a rough-draft of his thesis finished by the end of the year. He should graduate right around the same time the baby is due. I am so proud of him. Even if it has taken him...5 years to write this thesis haha. He has been busy saving the world and stuff like that.
Thanks for reading!
